The purpose of this prior information notice (PIN) is to assist West Yorkshire Police to understand the current market conditions and to identify any potential impacts of Covid-19. This is to inform their options for the delivery of electrical power and data services to support West Yorkshire Police, South Yorkshire Police, and potentially other parties within the Yorkshire and Humber region. If suppliers are interested in participating in this market engagement opportunity, they should register on the Bluelight e-tendering portal (https://bluelight.eu-supply.com) to access the documentation available. The PCC intends to use information gained from the market to inform future procurement options. West Yorkshire Police (Lead Force) currently has 79 buildings across the West Yorkshire region of varying size, age and complexity. The estate accommodates many functions ranging from office accommodation, custody suites, garaging, control rooms, IT data centres, covert premises, through to helicopter bases and storage requirements. South Yorkshire Police currently has 60 buildings across the South Yorkshire region of varying size, age and complexity. The estate accommodates many functions ranging from office accommodation, custody suites, garaging, control rooms, IT data centres, covert premises, training facilities, through to Horse stabling and dog compounds.
