Tender description

The purpose of the Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to support North Lanarkshire Council as lead local authority in collaboration with South Lanarkshire Council (referred to as the ‘Councils’) to gauge market interest and gather information to inform the procurement strategy and contract packaging for the delivery of Lanarkshire Business Gateway Services. Business Gateway is a publically funded local Government service that provides free business support and impartial advice for start-up and existing businesses based Scotland. Local authorities are responsible for the delivery of the Business Gateway Service. For Lanarkshire, North Lanarkshire Council manage the delivery across North Lanarkshire and South Lanarkshire. For Lanarkshire the service has been delivered by a 3rd party provider since 2007. The current contract is due to expire in February 2021. The service provider from the first of March 2021 shall deliver business Support across Lanarkshire. The service delivers business start-up support, business growth advisory support, workshops, events and surgeries to both start up and existing businesses.
