Tender description

Cardiff and Vale University Local Health Board intends to a award the building works element of a wider turnkey solution for the installation of Radiology scanners as part of their Health provision. As part of provision of Radiology Services at Cardiff and Vale ULHB, the ULHB purchased an additional diagnostic scanners which were identified for the UHW site. The ULHB require the installation for purchased scanners to fit in the infrastructure available and therefore intend to award GE Medical Systems Ltd for build work which was submitted as part of GE's turn-key tender submission. It reflects the necessary construction work associated with the installation of GE (appointed supplier) units, meeting the requirements of the specification of their machines in terms of spatial requirements of the rooms that house the units and the provision of services to power the units.
