This PIN is to inform the market that BFI intends to issue a tender for the BFI London Film Festival Transport Services, for the transportation of guests and important staff around the Festival's main venues, guest accommodation and airport/train stations. Potential tenders will need to register thier business on the website https://in-tendhost.co.uk/bfi/aspx/Home and follow the registration process. Potential tenders should ensure, when registering, to select the Classification Codes T and TD to ensure that they receive alerts regarding this area of activity. If already registered, potential tenderers should review their details to ensure that their contact details, along with all other areas of their registration, are fully up to date. In 2019, The 63rd BFI London Film Festival welcomed audiences of over 161 059 across 17 London cinema sites during 12 days, as well as an additional UK-wide audience. The festival screened a total of 233 fiction and documentary features, including 28 world premieres, 12 international premieres and 32 European Premieres, from 78 countries. It welcomed 868 filmmaker guests over half of which came from international territories. An integral part of the festival operation is the transport of guests and important staff around the festival's main venues, guest accommodation and airport/train stations. A total of 1 400 car journeys were made during the 2019 edition of the festival. For the 2020 edition of the festival, it is estimated that this will be divided between taxi services (standard and executive) and as-directed chauffer services. However, actual requirements will vary from year to year based on the size and scope of the festival.
