Tender description

The Cardiff and Vale University Health Board (C&V UHB) are looking to implement a framework arrangement with building service contractors. Typical works to be carried out will be: — excavation works; — corridor decorations; — upgrade of positive pressure rooms at UHW; — upgrade of communal area including seating; — refurbishment of bathrooms on T5 at UHW; — ward Refurbishment at UHW including upgrading of bathrooms and heating, replacement flooring, ceilings, light fittings, sanitary ware, redecoration. Demolition of some walls and partitions; — upgrade of two theatres into one HTM compliant theatre at UHL including demolition of walls and partitions, replacement flooring, ceilings, light fittings, sanitary ware, redecoration. Re-wiring of electrics, replacement of air handling unit, upgrading of medical gas. Any major works 2/schemes GBP 2 000 000 — GBP 4 000 000 will be covered under this lot. Any small works/schemes GBP 0 — GBP 5 000 and GBP 5 000 — GBP 125 000 will be covered under this lot. Any medium works/schemes GBP 125 000 — GBP 500 000 will be covered under this lot. Any major works/schemes GBP 500 000 — GBP 2 000 000 will be covered under this lot.
