Tender description

Keele University Science and Business Park Ltd (‘KUSBPL’) is a UK registered company and is a wholly owned subsidiary of the University of Keele (‘KU’). KUSBPL is the freehold owner of Keele University Science and Innovation Park (‘the Science Park’). KUSBPL has granted a 125 year lease of Plot 3a of the Science Park (‘the Premises’) to Noviniti Dev Co. 5 Ltd (‘Noviniti’). KUSBPL intends to grant to Noviniti a Licence for Alterations permitting Noviniti to construct a building on the premises to form a new veterinary school for KU. KU intends to enter into an agreement for lease with Noviniti providing for the grant of a lease of the completed veterinary school building by Noviniti to KU for a term of 120 years commencing on practical completion of the Building. KU has structured the contractual arrangement as a land transaction exempt from the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 and Directive 2014/24/EU. KU intends to enter into an agreement for lease and lease with Noviniti in respect of the Premises.
