Proposed Cleaning and Remedial works at Polish Air Force Memorial, Ruislip

The London Borough of Hillingdon (LBofH) is seeking a contractor for the Cleaning and remedial works to Water Feature at the Polish Air Force Memorial, Ruislip Scope of Works - Attend site and completely remove all water and existing fountain filter system. - Clean with steam pressure washer. - Remove all previous paints using circular pool cleaner fitted with wire pads - Clean and prepare for application of etching primer. - Repeat cleaning process and apply second application of etching primer. - Dry and clean basin floor and sides thoroughly ready for paint/resin application. - Apply single first coat of solvent-borne chlorinated rubber resin, satin finish - Colour = Ribbon Blue - Allow 48 hours curing period. - Apply second coat of rubber resin allowing 48 hours for further curing. - Refit filter system and commission fountain display and light system, (pipe work will be painted to blend with basin colour). - Refill with water and test and commission system. - Handover. - All installation works to be completed between 08:00 - 17:00 weekdays - All site visits to be arranged beforehand - On-site parking to be arrange via site contact - Full PPE to be worn at all times - Safety signage to be deployed and site closed off to the public while work progesses - Safe working area to be maintained to keep workers and staff safe - Full RAMS to be shared before works commence - Clear all waste from site. Prospective contractors should carry out a site visit before quoting. Site visit on Monday 30th March 2020 - Please confirm attendance
