***UPDATED INFORMATION***The Isle of Wight Council has a statutory duty to provide transport assistance between home and school for eligible children following an assessment of each child's ability to meet the criteria as detailed in the Home to School Transport policy. The Home to School Bus and Coach Services on the Isle of Wight (Mainstream and SEN) are due to be tendered and the new Contract(s) will commence from September 2020. The Isle of Wight Council is engaging with potential suppliers for Home to School Transport to inform our planned procurement which is due in April 2020. The purpose of this market engagement is to: • Gauge interest in this opportunity • Help determine our procurement strategy and approach • Identify innovative ideas that can improve our local provision • Identify options to make the service more sustainable • Inform the development of our service specification If you would like to respond to this, please register your interest and download the Market Engagement Supplier Information and Questionnaire.
