Tender description
Return Deadline is 12:00 on 01 April, 2019. Early Market Engagement - Provision of Temporary Accommodation Management - in Bury St Edmunds, Brandon, Mildenhall and Newmarket Towns West Suffolk Council invites expressions of interest from registered providers or voluntary organisations to operate temporary accommodation services on its behalf from a number of properties across West Suffolk. At this point in time the Council is not looking to formally tender any services but is canvassing for expressions of interest from organisations to obtain a better understanding of the market and how best to package any future offer. Some of the existing accommodation units have been in operation for a number of years with others being new acquisitions. A number of different providers currently provide services on behalf of the Council. As a result, some of the contracts are available for an immediate award, with others becoming available over the next six years at the time of the lease renewal. With the exception of one property, which is leased for 10 years, all are owned by the Council. In addition you are invited to discuss with the Housing Team in more detail and visits to different sites can be arranged. Should you wish to discuss in more detail please contact: Davina Howes, Assistant Director (Families and Communities), West Suffolk Council. Email : davina.howes@westsuffolk.gov.uk Tel : 01284 757070. The timetable and instructions relating how we'd like you to respond to this market engagement opportunity can be found in documents available to download from our e-procurement system; https://in-tendhost.co.uk/suffolksourcing/aspx/ProjectManage/1014
