Repair and maintenance services of building installations

Tender description

The selected Contractor will provide a general building maintenance service for University property in accordance with the schedule of accommodation below. The service will include the maintenance of the building fabric, furniture, fittings and decoration, as directed by the Buildings and Estates Department. The maintenance of mechanical and electrical services will be carried out by other contractors. However, it will be necessary to carry out works in conjunction and liaison with these other contractors, on a continuous basis, as part of the daily maintenance programme and especially for minor works involving alterations to buildings. Other duties associated with preparations for special events will form part of the overall service.
