Tender description

Lancashire County Council is inviting tenders on the terms set out in this ITT to secure a multi-lotted framework for the supply fresh produce products into its appointed distributor, Ralph Livesey Ltd who's distribution hub address is: Ralph Livesey Ltd, Fresh Food Distribution Hub, Unit 72B, Roman Way, Off Longridge Road, Preston, PR2 5BE. Deliveries of the products supplied will be made by the distributor to over 500 units county-wide. The majority of these units are educational establishments (Primary and High Schools/Colleges) Fresh food products will include, cheese, milk, eggs, yoghurt, bacon, cooked meats, sandwich fillings and refined oils and fats. The estimated value of Lancashire County Council spend per annum is between 1 780 000 GBP and 2 171 000 GBP The estimated value of wider public sector spend (see VI.3 Additional Information for further information) per annum is between 0 GBP and 1 260 000 GBP. Supply of fresh cheese products into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 510 000 GBP to 614 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (2 040 000 GBP to 2 456 000 GBP over 4 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector for the maximum 4 years is estimated to be between 0 GBP to 553 000 GBP per annum (2 212 000 GBP maximum over 4 years) — please see section VI.3 — Additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation. Tenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed. Supply of fresh milk products into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 506 000 GBP to 610 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (2 024 000 GBP to 2 440 000 GBP over 4 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector for the maximum 4 years is estimated to be between 0 GBP to 555 000 GBP per annum (2 220 000 GBP maximum over 4 years) — please see section VI.3 — Additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 107 000 GBP to 129 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (428 000 GBP to 516 000 GBP over 4 years). Tenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed. Supply of yoghurt products into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 112 000 GBP to 137 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (448 000 GBP to 548 000 GBP over 4 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector for the maximum 4 years is estimated to be between 0 GBP to 79 000 GBP per annum (316 000 GBP maximum over 4 years) — please see section VI.3 — Additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation. Tenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed. Supply of bacon into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 30 000 GBP to 37 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (120 000 GBP to 148 000 GBP over 4 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector for the maximum 4 years is estimated to be between 0 GBP to 20 000 GBP per annum (80 000 GBP maximum over 4 years) — please see section VI.3 — Additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation. Tenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed. Supply of cooked meats products into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 440 000 GBP to 530 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (1 760 000 GBP to 2 212 000 GBP over 4 years). Tenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed. Supply of sandwich filling products into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 46 000 GBP to 55 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (184 000 GBP to 220 000 GBP over 4 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector for the maximum 4 years is estimated to be between 0 GBP to 34 000 GBP per annum (136 000 GBP maximum over 4 years) — please see section VI.3 — Additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation. Tenderers should note the value of the whole framework may fluctuate and total value is not guaranteed. Supply of refined oils and fats products into Lancashire's County Council's appointed distributor. The duration of the Framework Agreement will be for an initial period of 2 years, with the option to extend for any given period up to maximum of a further 24 months. The framework is estimated to be between 29 000 GBP to 36 000 GBP per annum for Lancashire County Council Spend (116 000 GBP to 144 000 GBP over 4 years). The value of participation by the wider public sector for the maximum 4 years is estimated to be between 0 GBP to 19 000 GBP per annum (76 000 GBP maximum over 4 years) — please see section VI.3 — Additional Information for further details regarding wider public sector participation.
