Tender description

This ITT has been created by North East Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (NEAS) to invite proposals from suitably experienced, qualified and resourced providers of patient transport, emergency conveyance and associated services. This process will establish a Framework Agreement subject to NHS Framework Terms and Conditions of Contract, to provide services across all NEAS operational areas, inclusive of: — Northumberland, — North Tyne, — South Tyne, — North Durham, — South Durham, — Teesside. The 12 lots are each broken down into 6 sub-lots covering the above geographical areas. The framework shall be awarded for 36 months, with the option to extend for a further 12-month period. NEAS will call-off required services to supplement scheduled and unscheduled demand, and wish to appoint a minimum of 1 provider per sub-lot to ensure continuity of provision, and to retain up to 3 providers in areas of highest demand. “Provision of taxi services.” Scheduled and unscheduled care.
