Tender description

Neath Port Talbot County Borough Council (the “Council”) was seeking an appropriately qualified and experienced developer for a residential led mixed use development opportunity at the former Afan Lido and Overflow Car Park Sites, Aberavon Seafront, Port Talbot SA12 6XQ. The 2 sites extend to an approximate site area of 3,1 Hectares (7,5 Acres). The land was sold subject to and with the benefit of all existing rights, detail of which are provided in the Memorandum of Information document (the “MofI”) and development agreement in the tender documentation. The Council set minimum requirements for the development, details of which were provided in the MofI and Development Agreement. The successful tenderer would have been expected to obtain planning permission and deliver the development in a timely manner with the Council. As set out in Short Description in Section II) above.
