Tender description

The authority seeks to develop a framework agreement for the following: minor building works contractors for works to 1 500 000 GBP. The contractors will be invited to tender for minor building works (subject to the lot value) works that the authority wishes to undertake, these would be direct contracts for the authority and will mainly consist of building refurbishments. It is envisaged that there will be three contractors appointed for each lot and contractors can be appointed for multiple or single lots. The authority has existing frameworks in place for project management, architectural, QS services, structural engineers, CDM and mechanical and electrical engineering services. The University has a major capital contractor for projects over 1 500 000 GBP in value and is currently establishing a framework of mechanical and electrical contractors. Lot 1: Building works up to 50 000 GBP (excl VAT) in value (3 suppliers). Lot 2: Building works between 50 000 GBP and 200 000 GBP (excl VAT) in value (3 suppliers). Lot 3: Building works between 200 000 GBP and 1 500 000 GBP (excl VAT) in value (3 suppliers).
