Tender description

Plane off 130mm of existing bituminous carriageway surfacing on Scalby Road, Scarborough. 2no. separate areas between the junctions with Lady Edith's Drive and Coldyhill Lane and one isolated area in the anti skid outside no.324. Reinstate as follows: Provide and lay 80mm of 20mm DAC HDM Binder Course Provide and lay 50mm HRA 35/14 WTR2 high stone content asphalt surface course. Deeper patches Plane off an additional 200mm of existing bitumous surfacing and reinstate with 32mm HDM base course New thermoplastic road markings shall be applied throughout the extents of the scheme. Ironworks shall be adjusted to suit carriageway levels or as directed by the engineer. Reinstatement of high friction surfacing.
