Tender description

The MultiCAV project is an innovation project to implement a Mobility As A Service (MaaS) solution servicing passengers between Didcot Parkway Station and Milton Park. MaaS means the users will be able to book a combination of mobility modes (shuttles, taxis, bikes) from a single portal. One part of the innovation of this project is the use of connected and autonomous vehicles (CAVs) to deliver some of these transport modes. This requirement is for the procurement of 1 CAV for the duration of the project. The vehicle shall be capable of operating as a bus for 10 + passengers and be built with low floor configuration with step free access. The vehicle shall be electrically powered without the need for an overhead power supply or be powered by a diesel engine meeting the Euro VI standard.
