NHS North Lincolnshire Clinical Commissioning Group is seeking a non-emergency patient transport service provider to provide specific journey types (priority service users, planned routine and same day journeys) to eligible, registered patients. NHS North Lincolnshire CCG is seeking the provision of a non-emergency patient transport service. The successful provider is expected to deliver a flexible, high-quality patient focused service which is safe, clinically effective and represents best value. Specifically the local outcomes include: — patients will arrive and depart safely and in a timely manner, — there will be no detriment to the patient’s health and wellbeing during their journey, — provide a patient focused booking system, — apply the eligibility criteria and local NEPTS decision making tool in a consistent and equitable manner, — provide high-quality information to patients enquiring about NEPTS and signposting those who are not eligible to appropriate local alternatives. — provide an integrated NEPTS which supports: —— Planned and frequent journeys for Priority Patients; ——— ­ discharge from hospital; ——— ­ short notice urgent journeys; ——— ­ planned routine journeys. — provide high quality patient experience and satisfaction, — High level of satisfaction within primary and acute care providers, — The Provider must take action to reduce carbon emissions and the carbon footprint of the journeys where possible.
