The work involves the maintenance and improvement to structures and associated ancillary works for 5 contract areas. Refer to MoI Part B 7.3.1. Within each contract, the works may include but not be limited to the following principal work activities which are provided by way of example: A) stonework; B) sprayed concrete; C) reinforced concrete repairs; D) working with services/utilities; E) vehicle restraint systems installation or repair; F) reinforced concrete construction; G) installation of precast beams or box culverts; H) TTM/dealing with live traffic on public roads. The works may also include but not be limited to the following activities: — pressure pointing, — bridge expansion joints, — structural steel painting, — structural steelwork, — temporary works, — waterproofing, — demolition, — emergency response.
