The London Borough of Bexley (Lot 1) is seeking tenders for its revenue services and financial assessments and the London Borough of Bromley (Lot 2) is seeking tenders for its exchequer services, these are both independent procurement processes including the evaluation. Bromley’s and Bexley’s respective specifications and requirements are different from each other — this is not a joint tender but two separate and independent tenders with alignment of the tender timetables. If any tenderers choose to submit a bid for both Lots, tenderers will have the opportunity, to offer a simple percentage discount to their tendered contract price for each Council (with no change in the services detailed in the specifications). Any such discount offered by a tenderer will be considered by each Council independently without comparison or communication during their respective evaluation processes and will only become effective if Bromley and Bexley each independently award to the same tenderer. The London Borough of Bexley is looking to identify a suitably experienced service provider to deliver it’s Revenue Services, comprising of revenue collection: — Council Tax, — national non domestic rates. Administration of assessments and payments — housing benefit, — free school meals, — financial assessments, — deferred payment agreements. Cashiering services Other services — customer services, — post and print services, — management of IT systems used to provide services. The contract will run for a period of 8 years from 1.7.2020 to 30.6.2028 with 2 possible extensions of up to 2 years each. A potential contract length of 12 years.
