The London Borough of Southwark is seeking expressions of interest from competent contractors for the design and build of a new residential development which comprises of the demolition of an existing bungalow block and part of a disused car park podium structure to create 25 new homes (4 x 1 bed, 16 x 2 bed, 5 x 3 bed) for social rent including new landscaped courtyard. The London Borough of Southwark is seeking expressions of interest from competent contractors for the design and build of a new residential development which comprises of the demolition of an existing bungalow block and part of a disused car park podium structure to create 25 new homes (4 x 1 bed, 16 x 2 bed, 5 x 3 bed) for social rent including new landscaped courtyard. Southwark is building new council homes, with an aim to build 11 000 by 2043, and is looking for contractors that will work with the council to deliver its promises to residents and deliver homes that are: — built to a good technical specification and of high quality, — delivered on time and helping the council meet its future demand for housing, and — delivered on budget and offering excellent value for money.
