Tender description

The University of Edinburgh wishes to appoint a number of contractors to carry out reactive building maintenance and planned small works (up to the value of 50 000 GBP (excluding VAT)) across the University estate. The contractor(s) will be required to manage all trades relating to building maintenance and small works up to the value of 50 000 GBP, the delivery of which will be carried out around core business and often in occupied buildings. The majority of the maintenance work will be fabric related, but there will also be a requirement to manage other trades, including mechanical and electrical, from time to time. Suppliers will be expected to plan works with the end user’s operations in mind and tailor a customer focused service with strong planning and communication throughout their organisation.
