Works for complete or part construction and civil engineering work

Tender description

Translink wishes to appoint a suitably qualified contractor to undertake enabling works associated with The Belfast Transport Hub development project located in Great Victoria Street, Belfast. These work elements include the demolition of several existing structures, site remediation and site clearance, diversion of the existing culverts, the construction of a temporary busway road, the construction of a new signalised road junction on the Grosvenor Road, the diversion of various utility services which currently run through the adjacent footpath and bridge deck of the Boyne Bridge, the construction of temporary off site facilities bus maintenance and engineering garage, the demolition and replacement of Rail Bridge 308a and some other temporary facilities and or structures. The contract will commence in November 2017 for a period of approximately two years. The form of contract will be NEC3 Engineering Option A.
