Tender description
The scheme involves the construction of 1,15 km of single carriageway road with roundabout junctions and associated cycling and pedestrian facilities in a greenfield environment. The road, located to the East of Navan Town, will extend from the junction of Metges Road and the Kentstown Road (R153) northward towards the existing Navan-Drogheda Railway Line. The scheme will also involve the upgrade of the existing Metges Road/Kentown Road junction with a fully controlled signlised junction. A new roundabout will also be required at the intersection between the new road and the existing 'Old Road,' and the construction of two further roundabout junctions to service future developments in the area.
