Following Southwell Minster being awarded a Second Round National Lottery Heritage Fund grant, the Cathedral are seeking to appoint a Building Contractor via a restrictive traditional procurement route. In summary, the project involves various elements of work including lifting and relaying stone floor for the installation of underfloor heating into the Chapter House and Slype and a cantilevered lift to allow access into the spaces, internal and external lighting, construction of an outdoor learning space with associated external works and stone conservation. It is intended to use a JCT Intermediate Building Contract with contractor's design 2016.
