Scope of Contracting Entity’s Requirement Dublin Bus are seeking to select a minimum of 5 suitably qualified Contractors to invite to provide by rental three staff accommodation cabins. The works consists of: The supply under a rental arrangement of a single story rental accommodation for a period of nine months. The accommodation is for the relocation of staff to during construction works inside the main building. There requirement is for three separate modular buildings. 1. Drivers building, based on 8no 12m X 3m modular buildings. This consists of a crew hall, offices and toilet areas for drivers and mechanics. The mechanics toilet requirements include stainless steel trough wash hand basins with elbow control taps. This building will connect to the existing site services and electrical supply on a temporary basis. The successful tenderer will provide the accommodation on a design build arrangement, a drawing pack will be issued as a reference design. The tenderer will be appointed as PSCS for installation of the accommodation. The building does not require an assigned certifier of Building Control as it is a temporary structure during construction works to a permanent structure. The building will however be required to meet building regulation standard for fire , lighting and emergency escapes. 2. A second internal cabin is required to accommodate garage inspectors during construction work. This will be of dimensions 12m X 3m divided into three rooms. This will be located inside the maintenance garage. 3. A third cabin is required as a ticket machine, dimensions of 6m X 3m. This will be located at the southern end of the permanent accommodation building. The building will be located within an active bus garage and parking yard. The tenderer is responsible for delivering and erecting all accommodation provided by them and will be appointed as PSCS for this work. Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all works
