SUPPLY AND INSTALLATION OF INSULATION & VAPOUR BARRIER TO A 19 BED HOMELESS TEMPORARY ACCOMODATION SCHEME, HARROGATE

Tender description

The Council is seeking a suitably qualified installer of insulation and vapour barrier for a 19 bed homeless temporary accommodation scheme at Spa Lane, Harrogate. To supply and fit roof roll insulation between and over trusses as spec cause P10/145 and shown on drawings series 27. To supply and fit 100mm & 75mm insulation between timber studs (external walls) as spec clause P10/190A and shown on drawings series 21. To supply and fit 400mm of insulation to staircase eaves as per spec P10/190A and shown on drawings series 21. To supply and fit vapour control layer as spec clause P10/315A & P10/325A to external walls and on the drawings provided. VCL to be fully lapped / taped at junctions as shown on the drawings provided. Price to include all materials, delivery/carriage charges and any hire charges in order to carry out the works specified. Harrogate Borough Council will provide welfare facilities. The contractor is responsible for the disposal of any waste materials caused from their works. All works to comply with Building Control, LABC Specification and Contract Works Condition 1.
