Guinness Property maintain 45,000 properties on behalf of The Guinness Partnership, including empty homes (voids) works Guinness Property are reviewing how it delivers empty homes in four key geographical regions, each region to be advertised and resourced/awarded separately. Subcontractors (who may be) awarded regionally must be able to demonstrate they have sufficient resource to undertake works in region(s) of which expressed interest, complete works to required empty homes standards, within GP turnaround timescales (currently 10 days) The geographical area for support would be as follows, with average monthly empty home figures provided; South Central – Milton Keynes and surrounding - total average per month 30 Hemel Hempstead 3 North Hertfordshire 5 Northampton 4 South MK 4 Milton Keynes 14 The awarded subcontractors must be able to undertake and complete all of the following works types directly with in-house labour resources to provide a total empty homes solution • Groundworks • Fencing and Gates • Brickwork • Masonry • Joinery • Plastering & Finishes • Wall, Floor & Sheet Finishes • Plumbing • Glazing • Roofing (Minor Works) • Electrical • Painting & Decorating Requests for further information will be sent as required.
