Tender description

Medway Council wish to engage a development partner to work in partnership with the Council to develop the former Civic Centre site at Strood Waterfront, Medway, Kent. This will involve the successful bidder (i.e. the appointed development partner) undertaking design and construction activities to re-develop the site. Medway Council is seeking a development partner to enter into a development agreement with the Council to lead the delivery of residential led mixed-use development at the site of the former Civic Centre, located in the Strood Waterfront area. The Civic Centre forms part of an exciting new area of regeneration of the Strood Waterfront. An Illustrative Masterplan has already been prepared which highlights the potential for over 550 units on the 3 hectare (7.41 acre) area Civic Centre site.
