London Borough’s of Waltham Forest Regulatory Services will be looking for specialist support for the preparation and delivery of an extended housing licensing scheme. One of the Council’s priorities is that all residents have a decent roof over their head. More than a third of all of our residents now rent privately and this number continues to increase. Large scale licensing schemes will enable the Council to intervene effectively to safeguard the living conditions of some of our most vulnerable residents. Selective licensing was introduced in 2015 and the current scheme is due to end in May 2020. The Council is looking for a consultancy firm possessing specialist knowledge and skills needed for a successful implementation of designation approved by cabinet decision taken on 11.7.2019. The procurement of the provided will be conducted using dynamic purchasing system, run on www.sproc.net under specialist professional services category.
