Provision of Greenmount Primary School Works (PSBP 2)

Tender description

The Council is looking for a supplier who can provide the design (where applicable), execution and management of alteration and refurbishment works at Greenmount Primary School, Ryde, Isle of Wight. Briefly, the works will comprise: • Partial removal of the flat roof to form and lightwell / courtyard, including all making good • Internal remodelling of spaces to provide an additional teaching space and ancillary accommodation • Demolition of 2 No. small ‘conservatories’ and subsequent making good • Construction of new main entrance lobby and lobby to afford access to Room 0/1/031 • Formation of new window openings to suit revised internal layout • Installation of new school kitchen • Strengthening, insulating and recovering of the existing butterfly roof, • Renewal of rooflights • Renewal of the existing double glazed windows and external doors with double glazed aluminium framed units • Replacement ceilings • Upgrading of electrical main, lighting and small power • New fully addressable fire alarm system • New intruder alarm • Upgrading of heating and ventilation • New floor coverings • Redecoration Keywords: Windows, Refurbishment, Roofing, Demolition, Building Alterations
