The University of Chester is seeking a developer/investor partner to deliver further commercial development and on-going estate management at the 25 hectare Thornton Science Park, near Chester. The vision for the site shows potential for an additional 400 000 sq ft of commercial floorspace with target sectors including energy and environmental industries, automotive and advanced manufacturing. The University of Chester is seeking a developer/investor partner to work collaboratively with the University of Chester in achieving its vision of developing the Thornton Science Park site by delivering an additional 400 000 sq ft of commercial floorspace. The University is also looking for a partner to deliver on-going estate management services at the site. The precise structure will be agreed with the developer/investor partner, but the partner will be required to enter into a development agreement and facilities management agreement with the University of Chester obliging the development partner to carry out works to the site in order to procure the development of the site and to also provide the on-going facilities management.
