Tender description

The Council is seeking a single suitably qualified contractor to supply substructure and groundworks for a 19 Bed New Build Homeless Persons Temporary Accommodation scheme at Spa Lane Harrogate, HG2 7JF. Detail of requirement To construct trench foundations to external and internal walls, brick/block work up to DPC, beam and block slab including screed and insulation (except the community room), pad foundation to steel columns. All foul and surface water connections to main sewer including manholes, rodding eyes, attenuation, storm water storage tank and flow regulation system. Ducting for utilities including tile tape and cable covers where needed. Base coat, kerbs and aco drains to driveway and parking area. Provide a 1200mm perimeter of hardstanding around the building footprint. Top coat to parking spaces and driveway and lining of parking spaces - to be carried out at a later date Do not include paving to perimeter of building or walkways. Price to include any hire charges and delivery/carriage charges. Harrogate Borough Council will provide the welfare facilities. All works to comply with Building Control, LABC Specification and Contract Works Condition 1. Fire Prevention on Constructions Sites Joint Code of Practice.
