Decoration work

Tender description

Hampshire County Council (HCC) is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified and experienced organisations for the provision of decoration and minor pre-decoration repairs works. HCC undertakes a large and varied programme of work involving maintenance, new build, rationalisation and refurbishment of the Council's and its clients built estate. The main areas of activity in relation to this procurement comprises individual projects or programmes of external and internal decoration works, and pre-decoration repairs including joinery and window repairs, clearing flat roofs of moss and debris with gullies cleaned, and rainwater goods checked to make sure outlets are free-running. Provision of scaffold and access equipment as required. Painting walls, ceilings, doors and anything previously painted, and cleaning any pre-finished items within rooms. This may include replacing carpets. Lot 1: External decorations, internal decorations and associated repairs for individual projects and/or programmes of work greater than 200 000 GBP. It is proposed to appoint up to five contractors to Lot 1. Hampshire County Councils anticipated spend over the duration of the framework for Lot 1 ranges from 2 000 000 GBP up to 5 000 000 GBP. The value of participation by the wider public sector cannot be calculated accurately or guaranteed but has nevertheless been incorporated within a range of 2 000 000 GBP to 7 000 000 GBP for the duration of the framework. Lot 2: External decorations, internal decorations and associated repairs for individual projects and/or programmes of work up to 250 000 GBP. It is proposed to appoint up to ten contractors to Lot 2. Hampshire County Councils anticipated spend over the duration of the framework for Lot 2 ranges from 4 000 000 GBP up to 7 000 000 GBP. The value of participation by the wider public sector cannot be calculated accurately or guaranteed but has nevertheless been incorporated within a range of 4 000 000 GBP to 8 000 000 GBP for the duration of the framework.
