Peace Park Improvement Works

Tender description

The proposed works to Peace Park, in general, involve the demolition and excavation of the existing hardscaping. The works will in involve the removal and disposal of existing vegetation (to be agreed on site with landscape architect). The works also involve the provision for the protection of the existing mature hornbeams as outlined in the landscape drawings. The works involve the installation of slot drains to be connected to a soak away (also part of the installation works) on site, including the installation of street furniture in the form of seating and handrails. The works also include extensive ground modelling to the site to tie the proposed new levels in with the existing levels as outlined in the Landscape Architects drawings. The Works also include the installation of Leinster Granite slabs. The Works also include the installation of Limestone Setts. The works also include the installation of 3 sets of steps and associated landings and tactile paving. The works will also include the installation of the Flanders memorial and lawn area. This project will require the highest level of paving expertise and stone masonry expertise to achieve the required standards. In order to achieve the required quality.
