The term contracts for Asphalt Resurfacing 2017 may include but not limited to the following work activities: laying various types of asphalt, asphalt concrete and thin surfacing using mechanical means and by hand, reshaping of carriageways, adjustment of street furniture to new levels, adjustment and provision of kerblines, adjustment and provision of carriageway drainage systems, traffic management, road marking, road studs and other associated ancillary works (excluding street lighting) for the following contract areas: ARS2 (2017) — Newry, Mourne and Down; ARW1 (2017) — Mid Ulster (Cookstown, Dungannon, Magherafelt); ARW2 (2017) — Derry and Strabane; ARW4 (2017) — Omagh.
