This PIN is to inform operators that Business services organisation (BSO), Procurement and logistics service (PaLS), intends to issue a tender for transportation of blood/blood components from GB/RoI and documentation to GB on behalf of Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service and BSO/Family practitioner services (Clients). Potential tenderers for transportation of blood/blood components from GB/RoI and documentation to GB will need to register their business on the website www.eTendersNI.gov.uk Go to ‘Suppliers new to eTendersNI’ and follow the registration process. Potential tenderers will be required to register against the relevant CPV codes applicable to them and to ensure they receive email alerts regarding specific areas of interest. If already registered potential tenderers should review their contact details to ensure the information is up to date. A motor vehicle/goods vehicle will be required to transport blood components from the pick-up points in GB/RoI to the final destination — Northern Ireland Blood Transfusion Service Headquarters. A motor vehicle/goods vehicle will be required to transport confidential documentation from the pick-up point (Business services organisation (BSO)) Belfast to the Final Destination in GB.
