Invitation to tender for the construction of housing development at Lohercannon, Tralee, Co. Kerry including 61 No housing units including all associated siteworks, drainage, services, paths, driveways, soft landscaping and boundary treatments for Kerry County Council on a phased basis. The project involves phased construction (Phase 1) comprises 19 No Houses and 8 No Apartments with a total of 27 No units to be delivered in this phase, including all external works and site development works associated with these dwellings and is to be delivered within 12 months of the contract date. (Phase 2) comprises the construction of the remaining 34 No dwellings and all associated external works and site development works and is to be completed within 18 months of the contract date. Tenders must be submitted via the electronic post-box available through this contract notice. Only tenders submitted to the electronic post-box will be accepted. The works comprises of the construction of: — 37 No 3 bedroom 2 storey dwellings, — 12 No 4 bedroom 2 storey dwellings, — 4 No 5 bedroom 2 storey dwellings, and — 8 No 1 bedroom single storey apartments in a single block,including all associated external works including drainage, services, paths, driveways, soft landscaping and boundary treatments. Site development works including connections to public sewers, underground services, diversion of existing ESB overhead cables, alterations and tie ins to existing roads and footpaths and the part construction of a new arterial road to serve this new development and future developments beyond this site.
