REFURBISHMENT OF COVENTRY FIRE HOUSE

Tender description

West Midlands Fire and Rescue Authority has a requirement to refurbish the Fire House at Coventry Fire Station. The works will include adding two new burn rooms, resurface of the yard, electrical works, adding an external pallet store and general building improvements. It is anticipated that the works will commence by Mid November and be completed by the end of March 2020. The specification and pricing schedule include additional requirements which would only be selected if can be incorporated within the budget of £250,000. The first additional requirement is to add a burn room in the basement and the second additional requirement is to refurbish office and welfare rooms on the ground floor of the Fire House. Bidders are recommended to visit the site before submitting a tender. Two half days have been arrange for 23 September between 9:00 - 12:30 and 24 September between 13:30 - 16:30. Coventry Fire Station has recently been redeveloped and was officially reopened June 2019.
