Tender description

SDCC has a network of ducting infrastructure including 14 x 110 mm ducts installed over 9 900 m from the N4 to the N81. This is identified as the T16 ducting network. The Council may tender for a service provider to provide the following services: 1) Day to Day Maintenance and Operations; 2) Development and Management of Asset and existing Agreements; 3) Development of a Strategic Plan for the Ducting Infrastructure. Project timetable: — August/September 2019 for PIN, engagement with SDCC and possible solutions providers, — tender to be published, responses to be evaluated and award made in Q3 2019. Scope of tender — services required: SDCC has a network of ducting infrastructure including 14 x 110 mm ducts installed over 9 900 m from the N4 to the N81. To include the following areas of service: — audit of existing infrastructure, locations and condition, — develop detailed as built drawings and deliver GIS Mapping of existing ducting network, — management of existing leased infrastructure access and evaluation of proposals for future leasing access permissions, — 24/7 network management, maintenance and repair service for existing and future access permissions, — supervision and protection of installation of or access to infrastructure to agreed specifications, — manage multi operator connectivity/tenancy, — manage wayleave requirements and agreements, — all matters related to billing, marketing and management of applications for access, — evaluation of capacity, resilience and redundancy of the existing ducting infrastructure network, — proposals for duct network expansion investment, new technologies and development to safeguard and enhance the economic development of the County.
