Tender description
Leeds City Council is making available the opportunity for Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) operators to submit grant applications for financial support to upgrade non-compliant (below Euro VI diesel) prior to the implementation of the Leeds Clean Air Charging Zone (CAZ). Non-compliant vehicles will be charged £50 per day to drive in the CAZ. The grants available are capped at £16,000 per vehicle for HGVs driving extensively within the CAZ, a maximum of one application can be submitted per company group and a maximum of 5 vehicle upgrades can be applied for. All awards are subject to sufficient funds being available. Please ensure all documentation is read prior to the completion of the application form, and evidence is submitted at the point of applying.
