Repair and maintenance services

Tender description

The authority is looking to procure 2 service providers to partner with to deliver repairs, maintenance, compliance and investment works to properties, broken down into 2 Lots (1: North and 2: South) plus communal areas, community centres, boiler houses and garages Organisations may bid for both lots, however can only be successful for one lot. Should any service provider be the winning bidder for both lots, they will be asked to choose their preferred lot. The contract will run for a period of 5 years of the initial contract term making the expiry date 31.3.2025. The contract will have an option to extend by 5 x 12 monthly periods making the latest possible end date 31.3.2030. Lot 1 of this procurement will consist of approximately 10 546 dwellings to the North of the Borough and will involve the following categories: Category 1 – Responsive Repairs (not including Gas): Category 2 – Minor Voids; Category 3 – Revenue Planned Works; Category 5 – Safer Homes; Category 6 – Caretakers/Estate Management; Category 7 – Fire Damage and Structural; Category 8 – Aids and Adaptations; Category 9 – Major Voids; Category 10 — Capital Investment Works and New Build. Lot 2 of this procurement will consist of approximately 9828 dwellings to the South of the Borough and will involve the following categories: Category 1 – Responsive Repairs (including Gas); Category 2 – Minor Voids; Category 4 – Cyclical Works; Category 5 – Safer Homes; Category 6 – Caretakers/Estate Management; Category 8 – Aids and Adaptations; Category 9 – Major Voids; Category 10 — Capital Investment Works and New Build. The client is looking for 2 different service providers therefore, any organisation can bid for both lots, however can only win one lot.
