Tender description

The West Midlands Combined Authority (WMCA) is seeking tenders for the qualification of either 1, 3 or 4 suitable suppliers to its new painting framework. The services required are for the painting of WMCA owned infrastructure across the West Midlands area of the UK. The services required are for the painting of WMCA owned infrastructure at the following locations: — rail station park and ride sites, — highway infrastructure, — bus stations and interchanges, — midland metro. This framework is for a maximum period of 4 years and is expected to commence around 18.3.2019. Each piece of work will usually be awarded by way of a suitable mini-competition where all qualified suppliers will be invited to take part. Bids are being assessed on the basis of 20 % quality, 70 % price and 10 % social value. Only those organisations that have answered all of the questions and provided all supporting documents satisfactorily in the qualification envelope will go on to have their tenders evaluated.
