Tender description

Gloucestershire County Council has tendered for a carers support service: Consisting of 2 Lots: Lot 1: Adult Carers; Lot 2: Young Carers. Adult carer support services will include support for adult carers and parent carers, covering a range of support and service activities which include, but are not limited to, the following: — information, advice and guidance, — emotional support (peer support groups, befriending and mentoring, counselling), — assessment, support planning and review, — health and wellbeing support, — learning, skills and employment, — carers breaks, — carers emergency scheme/carer’s card, — hospital liaison, — carers voice. Young carer support services include support for young carers (aged to 18 years old) and young adult carers (aged 17-24 years old), covering a range of support and service activities which include, but are not limited to, the following: — participation and young carer voice, — education, information advice and guidance, — assessment and support planning, — emotional and wellbeing support, — learning and development programmes, — transitions support for young adult carers.
