The project (Type 1) involves Extension(s) (Rear & Front) to Existing National School and all associated works at Rossmore National School, Rossmore, Cashel, Co. Tipperary as per Pricing Schedule of Works below but not limited to … Demolition Works o Demolition of existing prefabricated structure which houses Pre-School o Demolition of existing bicycle shed o Waste Management and Disposal of all demolition material Front Extension Works (Phase 1) o Construction of new Security Lobby to the front of the original national school, mono pitch ‘flat roof’ section o Construction and extension of existing room to the north east of the new front extension into new main office with new reception counter o Slight construction modifications to existing Disabled WC to the south west of the new front extension o Construction of new disability access ramp and steps Rear Extension Works (Phase 2) o Construction of new rear extension where previous prefabricated preschool and bicycle shed stand containing new mainstream classroom, 2 x learning support rooms, circulation/connecting corridor and new unisex wheelchair accessible disabled wc o Slight construction modifications to existing WC and open to new learning support room o Construction of new disability access ramps and steps o Re-routing of overhead power lines underground to new ESB meter in the front of the school. Civil / Drainage / Ground Works o New foul water drainage system (related to new extension(s)) to be laid and connected to new wastewater treatment packaged system. o New wastewater treatment packaged system and new percolation area. o New surface water drainage system (related to new extension(s)) to be laid and connected to existing soakaway to rear of the existing school o Provisions to be constructed for future Portacabin for Pre-School to the south west of the national school and future new wastewater treatment system packaged unit o All associated civil works including drainage, surface water and fou
