HS2 Ltd is hosting an industry day on Friday 19.7.2019 to re-engage with the market and launch its revised strategy based on market feedback for the procurement of BCS Station. HS2 have recognised the current market conditions are challenging and the increasing concern regarding risk transfer and wanted to revise our position to provide a better balance and overall outcome. The industry day will provide an opportunity to re-engage with the market and outline our revised strategy which we believe will attract a larger number of bidders, reduce risk and thereby produce a more competitive process. Lot 1: To deliver the new stations, HS2 Ltd expects an integrated approach to design and construction, and the procurement approach has been designed to enable this and maximise the synergies that may arise. The stations will not only meet the functional requirements of a high speed railway, but will be designed and delivered to make new places with integrated public realms and transport connections to help facilitate regeneration.
