Tender description

The supply and implementation of a VDI (Virtual Desk Infrastructure) solution to support 2 000 individual users across the Council. The Council is looking to award a sole provider contract for: — the supply and implementation of a VDI solution to support 2 000 individual users across the Council, — to provide access from a variety of thin client devices, such as Igels, Raspberry Pi, Chromebooks and Windows 10, — the ability to run a full windows desktop and Windows based applications, including Microsoft Office, Oracle/Java applications and browsers for up to 1 500 concurrent users, — the ability to stream individual Windows apps running in the VDI environment into a session on a Windows laptop/pc.
