Tender description

The purpose of this Prior Information Notice (PIN) is to alert potential suppliers to an opportunity in relation to the provision of design and refurbishment/fit-out works for the Birmingham Organising Committee for the 2022 Commonwealth Games Ltd (the ‘OC’) Headquarters. The inclusion of building and facilities management services is being explored for its viability with the supply chain and to understand if market appetite exists. The OC are issuing this Request for Information (RFI) which consists of a questionnaire containing background information and a number questions requiring responses, relating to the delivery of the potential Works and Services. There is no guarantee that this RFI will result in a competitive tender. Responding or not responding to this RFI will not affect any tender process. The OC is undertaking this RFI for the provision of design, construction and fit-out works for their office Headquarters in Birmingham. The scope includes, but is not limited to: — interior design, space planning, density and maximum occupancy assessments and related strategies, — architectural and interior refurbishment/fit-out works, — mechanical and electrical (M&E) checks/inspections and works, and reconfiguration works, — removal, storage and installation of furniture, — supply of audio visual systems and equipment, — construction management, — project management and on-site supervision, including health, safety and environment, the control of the work quality, project progress, project schedule and costs, — mandatory/statutory and authority submissions and approvals. Optional services: — dilapidation assessment services and completion works, — total building and facilities management services.
