Tender description

Dublin City Council, Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council, Fingal County Council and South Dublin County Council jointly invite tenders from competent and experienced firms for the supply and delivery of food (sandwiches, fruit and milk) for the Urban School Meals Scheme operating within the four local authorities for the School Year 2019-2020 (approximately from September to June). The combined current average daily deliveries amount to approximately 6 550 sandwich units (half sandwich) per day on each of 5 days per week, 20 250 pieces of fruit per day on 4 days per week, and 29 200 units of milk (189 ml) per day on each of 5 days per week. The contract will be awarded initially for a 1 year period (School Year 2019-2020) with the option, at the sole discretion of Dublin City Council, of being extended for an additional 3 periods of 1 year each (4 years max).
