Tender description

The proposed works are likely to involve but not limited to, supply and installation of the following, including completion of post-contract design works: Stage 3A Highway and Infrastructure works, — toilets and welfare facilities including fittings and MEICA, — clock tower square including the heritage asset refurbishment and installation, hard and soft landscaping, and street furniture., — marina curve access road to include the paving works, — marina curve hard and soft landscaping, — marina curve/berth holder parking including paving, — boatyard access road (other side of the wick channel) including the bellmouth, paving and services, — New Boatyard surfacing, MEICA and the demolition of C shed, — CCTV including fixtures and fittings, — Comms including fixtures and fittings, — marina curve protrusion, surfacing and MEICA around buildings, — PoWP resurfacing and demolition of the existing toilet and café facilities. This notice is published to determine suitable candidates who could tender for the successful design and delivery of the works required for the DWDR — Stage 3A — Highways and Infrastructure at the port of Dover. Suitability will be assessed through the qualitative assessment of potential tenderers as set our within the pre-qualification documentation. Proposals presented must be submitted strictly in accordance with these instructions. Following this qualitative assessment the most suitable tenderers are to be invited to submit single stage lump sum bids for the works (currently envisaged as four tenderers). Please note that this strategy may be subject to change based upon the pre-qualification process; this may include an altered procurement route or an increase/decrease of tendering parties.
