The current contract for the hire of tipping skips and highways arising and gulley waste has expired and as such, a tender exercise must be undertaken. Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) continues to have an on-going need to dispose of waste from around the borough to enable it to undertake its day to day operations. To ensure the highest levels of service are delivered, RMBC is looking for suppliers who can provide the following: — Lot :1 Tipping, — Lot 2: Skips, and — Lot 3: Highways Arising’s and Gulley Waste. Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) is seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced organisation to provide facilities to tip various types of waste brought into the waste depot. It is envisaged Lot 1 will be awarded to a maximum of 5 suppliers, geographical location will determine which supplier will be used for tipping. The services shall include and accommodate the following: — highways waste, — grounds maintenance waste, — fly tipping, — furnished homes waste. The weighting will be 100 % price for this lot.
